Re: Bosch wff 2000 sometimes failing to pump

    Hi
3 flashes indicates a fault in the pumping/drain system, where the module detects that the tank is taking longer to empty than expected.
Look for blockages where the drain hose goes to spigot under sink (if that is your config) or the drain hose too far down the upright drain pipe (only needs to go a quarter of th way down)
If they all check out then ift maybe an internal blockage, ie in filter of pump etc or indeed a weak or tired drain pump.
Unplug appliance if you are to investigate internally :plug:

    HI
Error 1 is a fault possibly down to a valve problem either blown or appliance not filling quick enough, ie within 4 minutes.

He misdiagnosed first (who hasn’t be honest)
Eventually found the fault and customer I would imagine rendered appliance BER.
So there is a certain amount of charge due to engineer surely, less the un-required switch. 😕

    Re: bosch WTL 5400 Con-dryer

    Hi
Im guessing its this WTL5400/GB/01, as I cannot see an 11 index.

The fault you are getting is indicating a a fault with the (R2) NTC, which is situated above the heater.
This NTC looks at the temp of the air feeding the drum. Check connections etc before ordering.
I cannot see this as spare, so it may come with heater :con:

Re: Repairer’s right to charge for not fixing machine?

    Hi
Why should he refund his labour, surely just the cost of the switch as this was his error; but the labour was used to diagnose albeit wrongly at first but the outcome was the same ie – BER. That surely wasn’t his choice?
If the £80 was for the total job then he should refund part of that amount.

    Thats just my input 🙂

    Hi
You will need to supply full model number and also, please count the number of times the lamp is flashing. Lamp will flash for x amount of times with a 2 second off period.

    Cheers

    Hi

    Try this 😉

    Switch on the appliance.
    Hold down the Prewash button.
The signal changes from loud to medium to soft and then off.
Release the Prewash button at the desired setting
