Erm, someone has been having too many chasers at dinnertime by the sounds of it 😕

Going to guide him to engineer as its obvious he is not going to manage the task in hand 😀

    Hi Brett
I would be looking first of all at the module relay board in fascia.
More than likely there will be a dry joint on one of the pins of the drive relay for the heater 😉

    Hi
The Enr is actually the model number confusing as it is.
With the appliance un plugged you will need to check for water in the base ie- below the stainless wash tank.
This fault condition has been covered exhaustively with the bosch appliances please refer back to those.

    Hi
You could check that the fill valve is still intact. Should read around 2-4k ohms. Done with appliance un-plugged I must add.
The symbols you mention are indicating that the rinse aid (sun symbol) and the salt (S) are empty or low but would not cause the fault you have.

Please use the engineer link if you need to.

    Hi Alan
Are these to fit motors which have an end cap?also do you have a rough model number just to make it easier 😀

    Thanks

    Hi Mike
It does sound like a module fault.
Do you know if its a GB/01 or GB/08 ?

    Hi
Tthe hum is good news  its indicating that the water valve for water dispensing is operating, but beacuse of the ice blockage in the pipe the water cannot complete its journey. After the 24 hours I can see no reason why it shouldn’t be back to normal 😉

    Hi
Its very rarely the brush roll switch. Have you checked the cut out switch on the neck?
Failing that its usually the un-accessible switch in the swivel part of the base. Not available as a spare FYI 👿
Worth checking is the little motor brushes and pcb in the head unit aswell.
Check your email it may help a little 😉

    Hi
Brushes worth a check and/or dry joint/s on pcb.
To check motor for correct readings these are typical readings-

    On motor itself between –
    Pins 1-3.. 0.8 – 1.2 ohms
    Pins 2-3..0.8 – 2 ohms
    Pins 4-5..1.8 – 10 ohms
    Pins 6-7..14 – 240 ohms

    Hi Loz
The most common problem is the feed pipe which goes through the freezer door to the water dispenser freezeing up if the water dispenser isn’t used regularly. Easist way is to turn appliance off for 24hours and see if fault has gone. If so, regular use of the water dispenser should prevent that fault re-occuring.
Another option is that the fill solenoid that feeds the water dispenser has failed. The easiest way is to to check is to pull the appliance out and get someone to activate the water dispenser paddle and listen for a low hum coming from the rear r/h corner in conjunction with the operation of said lever.
The ice maker water feed is totally different system so will not be affected.

    Hi
Adjacent to the water matrix is the metering unit or its correct term is level sensor with safety function which basically regulates the amount of water entering the appliance and also has an antiflood mechanism built into it, hence the question was it gunged up?
Below the door is a metal plate attached to the plastic base it has 2 torx20 screws, behind that you will see that clear ribbed tube.
