Hi
You may need to re-check that model number Ally.
I know some of the Neff side by sides were Maytag made/design, so were a joy to work on 😀Greg

Hi
Just to add to Boro’s post. Its not unheard of for the diverter valve to pop the electronic module aswell, just to give you a worse case scenario 🙂For reference and if required –
Instantaneous water heater (483058) £64.80 + costs
Module (494201) – £76.30 + costs
Parts are available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk 😉Un-plug appliance if you are to investigate :plug:

Hi Andy
Sometimes if you close the doors too quickly can cause a similar fault to faulty door switches aswell 🙂Greg

ParticipantRe: My Microwave just died, should I look inside?
Hi Andy
If there is a problem with any of the door switches, it will put a dead short on mains and pop the fuse/s.HTH

ParticipantRe: My Microwave just died, should I look inside?
Hi Andy
You say it died when you closed the door? It sounds like maybe one of the safety door microswitches or door mech may be at fault.
Like Chris said, watch out for them high voltages and dishcharge with a bleeder lead.Greg

Hi
There is no reset process on the module unfortunately. Like you said you are not in UK so have moved you to correct Forum 🙂 and we have no engineers covering Malta…..yet 😆
I would still urge you to find an engineer in your area to confirm the fault.Greg

ParticipantRe: ISE Email address bounces mail
Just to re-cap on this, Ive just received a reply email from my original TEST email I sent to enquiries@iseappliances.co.uk so looks like it may have been a glitch or firewall settings with the user/s :con:

ParticipantRe: Vent blocking in Fridge freezers
Hi
I shouldn’t worry too much providing you don’t completly obstruct the vent. If you do you may observe poor or uneven chilling in the fridge compartment with no lasting damage to the appliance.Greg
