I agree Jim, I suppose from an engineer perspective the picture slightly blurred, looks great but I can see how Joe Bloggs may have a problem recognising what they are looking at.

    Hi Jim
Think its gonna be a close up of a PCB module c/w resistors, ceramic capacitors, some 1n4147 diodes at a guess 😕 and chip just visible 😀

Re: SGS43C12GB/08 Lower spin arm fault

    Hi Spon
I would imagine the water diverter on the heater unit and/or module is at fault.
You say 2 months out of guarantee, when did you buy it??
The worst it can be is March 2004, but BSH are usually pretty lenient, and may do a deal on the spares 😀 and you pay the labour.

    Hi Paul
Some manufacturers when supplying an appliance to be used in a commercial environment give a 90 day guarantee 😯

There are only two types of Thermister, namely negatve and positive.

1/ A Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) resistor is a resistor with a positive temperature coefficient. When the temperature rises the resistance of the PTC increases.

2/ A Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) resistor is also a temperature-dependent resistor, but with a negative temperature coefficient. When the temperature rises the resistance of the NTC drops.
