It has a fault, you have a policy, call them out, that is what you have cover for.
If you interfere with the appliance whilst under a cover, some engineers may refuse to work on it and it may also invalidate your policy 😉Greg

ParticipantRe: Another joke.
Nelson Mandela is sitting at home watching TV and drinking a beer
when he hears a knock at the door. When he opens it, he is
confronted by a little Chinese man, clutching a clip board and yelling,
“You Sign! You sign!”
Behind him is an enormous truck full of car exhausts.
Nelson is standing there in complete amazement, when the
Chinese man starts to yell louder, “You Sign! You sign!”
Nelson says to him, “Look, you’ve obviously got the wrong
man”, and shuts the door in his face.
The next day he hears a knock at the door again. When he
opens it, the little Chinese man is back with a huge truck of brake
pads. He thrusts his clipboard under Nelson’s nose, yelling,
“You sign! You sign!”
Mr Mandela is getting a bit hacked off by now, so he pushes the little
Chinese man back, shouting: “Look, go away! You’ve got the
wrong man.I don’t want them!” Then he slams the door in his face
again.
The following day, Nelson is resting, and late in the
afternoon, he hears a knock on the door again. On opening the door,
there is the same little Chinese man thrusting a clipboard under his nose,
shouting,”You sign! You sign!
” Behind him are TWO very large trucks full of car parts.
This time Nelson loses his temper completely, he picks up
the little man by his shirt front and yells at him: “Look, I don’t want
these! Do you understand? You must have the wrong name!
Who do you want to give these to?”
The little Chinese man looks very puzzled, consults his
clipboard, and says:

ParticipantRe: Bosch pump faulty?
Hi
With the appliance unplugged :plug: , it may be worth checking the sump ball situated in the recess of the sump hose just below where it attaches to base of tank.
There is a chance that sand may have jammed the ball thus blocking the tank water off and stopping it reaching the drain pump assembly 😀Greg

West Ham United (0) 1 Arsenal (0) 0Alan Pardew had been waiting all season for a day as good as yesterday. Arsene Wenger just happened to be standing next to him when it arrived.
Dust up: Pardew and Wenger exchange views on the touchline
The unseemly touchline dust-up between the two managers overshadowed anything their players had managed. All their occupational pressures and problems built up around the two principals like a bonfire, and when Marlon Harewood’s late goal lit up Upton Park, sparks flew. So did Wenger afterwards, without saying a word.No mention of the coin thrown at Van Persie, that didn’t help 👿

ParticipantRe: Miele tumble drier won’t run for >5 mins
Hi Malcolm
I stand corrected 100m (app 300ft) what a length 😯
Going back to fault, the diagrams don’t show any of the venting going downwards, whether that will have any effect on the appliance ie heat rising etc 😕Greg

helo_75 wrote:you can have an 80ft vent hose, as long as its not kinked
Im sure you can’t 😕 as you will get to a point where the vent air will finally drop off and thus cause condensation to form inside the hose and result in poor drying and may even start popping safety thermostats to boot 🙂

ParticipantRe: Lethal Zanussi F1045w
What I would have done in that instance would have been to make safe the appliance ie unplug, we have no right to start maiming customers appliances; (in a gas instance would have been uncouple flexi hose or to turn gas tap feeding appliance off) and advise the responsible person verbally and in writing of the possible consequences if they persisted in using the appliance until the fault was rectified by a suitably qualified person 😀

Hi
The appliance may have overheated or drum may have rubbed on the door seal for whatever reason.
I would really get an engineer out to check it out IMO.
Please use the link below to find one in your area.Greg

Hi
If you are to investigate yourself to confirm the cause, then please be safe and un-plug appliance :plug:Greg
