Re: Bosch WFK2801 fault code 1

    Hi Sean
There is a chance that a fill valve solenoid/s have failed.
These can be easily checked with the appliance unplugged.
Each of the three solenoids should read approx 2-4 Kohms individually.

    Regards

It says and I quote “For the homeowner to save on gas bill, repairs and maintenance 😯 now that sounds pretty illegal to me and in breach of HSE guidlines.

……For blinkin years and years and to add, the honeycomb drum has won award in Germany and will allow you to spin clothing at higher speed without the fabric being damaged ie tiny holes fabric will not be pulled through by centrifugal force hence zero damage.
Lets not pick on Miele, as P45 said, it will work why bother worrying or even trying to find faults (there are none except they are heavy and expensive 😀 )

    Hi Jim
Got it on Thursday, spoke to a Mr Watt about it and he was unimpressed 😀 saying something about not as good as firefox and has something better, as always 8)

For the record I love it and it seems quicker than the old one.

    Hi
Its possible the heater has become faulty. This can easily be checked with the appliance unplugged :plug: ; using a multimeter. Approx reading with feed wires detached should be 20-30 ohms.

To remove the water, replace fuse and turn to the beginning of a cycle and Im sure it will oblige.

    Hi
I would imagine its a vague error code indicating a heating problem IMHO.
In the heat cycle, do you get 240v on the heater terminals thus eliminating the relay and pcb. 😀
