    Hi
Same thermostat for oven and grill, so thermostat must be ok.
Have a look and see if temperature probe in oven cavity is secured and not touching grill element?

If you have to remove panels in the future again please make sure you unplug appliance or isolate at spur or fusebox.

Just to add to this, we pay a premium to access this information (which isn’t cheap) and then to have someone give that info away free really grates 👿 Thats the crux of it to be honest.

Oh please don’t rock the boat with BSH on this issue. We indies often get assistance from BSH tech dept regarding wiring diagrams, sequence charts etc.

You can’t have it all ways, ie we moan on here if too much tech is given out etc to the public. If BSH stop giving tech out willy nilly then that can only be a good thing and same for any manufacturer.
I have no qualms about indies having tech info but some protocol for distinguishing trade and public must exist surely.

Removed APG’s last joke from Off Topic as it was bad taste IMO.
Have commented and advised in his post.

Rev John Flapps sees a lady church member getting drunk in the pub. He tries to take her home but they fall and he ends up on top of her. The landlord says “oi mate, you can’t do that in here”. The rev replies “you don’t understand, i’m Pastor Flapps”.
The landlord says “well if you’re that far in you may finish!”

    Twas funny though 😆

So please, don’t brand all BG engineers as being the same, we’re not. I take pride in my work and I don’t chase bonus.

I wish there were more BG guys like you.
The clown up here who I have to sort out after is doing BG no favours.
19 times to washing machine he made as it was leaking and sticking 8O, I got there after guy gave up, just to find that hot tap was damaged (poor flow)and weeping.
Im not the hottest engineer by far but this is basic stuff :rolls:
