    Sometimes can be crap caught in gauze filter of fill hose. Cant do any harm to look can it 😉

    There is a good chance that the rinse solenoid valve has gone. Only a check with a multimeter for its resistence will tell; with appliance unplugged of course :plug: .
    It is a dual valve and if one of the solenoids has gone you will have to order the complete unit p/no 265772. See spares link below if required.

    They can stick, usually by sedement jamming the gating.

    If it is not the valve, is it possible that the programmer is at fault?

    Programmers/timers very rarely go wrong to be honest.
