ParticipantRe: Another joke.
The world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make is
taking a stroll down his local high street. As he passes by the record shop, a sign catches his eye. “Just
Released
New LP -Wasps of the World & the sounds that they make –
available now”“I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they
make.
I’d very much like to listen to the new LP you have advertised in the
window.”“Certainly, Sir,” says the young man behind the counter. “If you’d
like to step into the booth and put on the headphones, I’ll put the LP on
for you.”The world expert on European wasps goes into the booth and puts on
the earphones. Ten minutes later, he comes out of the booth and
announces,”I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make and yet I recognised none of those.”“I’m sorry Sir”, says the young assistant. “If you’d care to step
into the booth, I can let you have another 10 minutes.”The world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make
steps back into the booth and replaces the headphones.Ten minutes later, he comes out of the booth shaking his head. “I
don’t understand it”, he says, “I am the world expert on European wasps
and the sounds that they make, and yet I still can’t recognise any of
those!”“I’m terribly sorry, Sir” says the young man, “perhaps if you’d
like to step into the booth again, you could have 5 more minutes.”
Sighing, the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that
they make steps back into the booth. Five minutes later, he
comes out again, clearly agitated.“I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they
make and yet I have recognised none of the wasps on this LP.”
“I really am terribly sorry”, says the young assistant,
“I’ve just realised I was playing you the bee side.”:rotl:

Sounds like a door problem; as in catch or interlock Jim, anything else and it would put an error code up.
I remember some of the newer Zanussi doing this very fault, whatever relevence that has 😀Greg

Jim: I’m not a moderator! Will you please listen? I am not a moderator, do you understand? Honest!
Girl: Only a true moderator denies His divinity!
Jim: What? Well, what sort of chance does that give me? All right, I AM a moderator!
Followers: He is! He is a moderator!
Jim: Now, fuck off!Arthur: Er, how shall we fuck off, O moderator?

ParticipantRe: SMS4472GB/20 no water in
Tank is on the lefthand side and the hose you need to remove is the 1″ diameter black one which goes to sump.
Unplug before attempting this :plug:

Indeed they are and better than most, I for one have had one of their dryers for 11years never moaned once.
Its just I can’t see the point of this particular tumble dryer. Granted its saves energy which can only be good, but already stated the wear of the appliance must be accelerated surely?Greg

ParticipantRe: ‘A’ rated T/D?
8 hours of operation 😯 just think of the wear and tear on the components thus shortening the lifespan of the appliance and making more environmental waste in a shorter time.
Its all gimmick as GB said. Tell the public what they want to hear (except the 8 hour bit 😆 ) and they will follow like sheep.
Whatever next?Greg

I guess water was not draining out from behind that grill where water level indicator was, so it thought (if machines do think?) that it still had water and hadn’t pumped it all out when it had.Got it in one, ever fancied becoming a whitegoods engineer?

Nice one Tony
If you give your plates a quick rinse under tap before loading you shouldn’t get that problem again 😀Greg

Hi
“F” is a fill fault, but by the symptoms given does sound like a base full of water/float activation. If water is present check usual suspects
1/ Weeping fill valve housing joint (inside cavity)
2/ Weeping from ‘o’ ring/s of heater to sump
3/ Gunged metering unit and/or ribbed hose from unit to sump
4/ 3 or 4 in 1 tablets used in conjunction with rinse aid causing excess foam and overfillhth
