Re: Sharp microwave shuts down every 59 seconds??

Not well up on Sharp but a certain make we do have Magnatrons in which the ferrite rings crack causing similar fault. Remove and just look for any cracks in it, they are blatently obvious.

    Martin
I have had some motors where upon insertion of plug; one or two of the pins on the motor retract thus causing zero contact.

    Hi
The failure of the fan element would bare no connection to the grill element. A more common factor of the two is in play.
Considering facts of your fault may I suggest repairs@ to get an accurate diagnosis.

    Thanks

    Hi
I take it you were on the fan oven selection when it blew a fuse??
If so its most likely the circular element has failed -P/no 499003.

The top element you can see is for the grill only and would not be activated under fan assisted cooking.

See spares@ for part/s you may require.

Live testing of any components cannot be advised on this site for obvious reasons, even though it may be the most practical.

In my day to day visitations of certain visual retailers, I have been told that the Panasonic plasma units have the best reliability and picture. Have had the pleasure of seeing the panasonic plasma HD in action with a HD player and its the dogs… Its like a moving photo taken with a decent camera, unbelievable.
