ParticipantRe: rangemaster 110 / 5344
I fitted a A098256 from Connect yesterday to an old rangemaster and it was a dual grill but Unfortunately left the mod sheet at the job. After fitting I found that the grill neon came on with single grill selected but not with dual?. Explained to the customer but she wasn’t fussed.

There should be a small cooling fan on the rear of the motor held on with a rubber gromit Pn 6221528.

ParticipantRe: diplomat range
Sorry for hijacking this thread but last job today was for a Diplomat APL 5751 Range cooker. Model not listed on Masterpart but after a control for the griddle, It feels like a capillary stat rather than an Eng reg, And thanks to Mendy in advance for advise on how to access if I get the job.

Just signed. Have a lot of respect for the RNLI, Me and bro used to do a lot of power boating and once of Off Old harry rock near Swanage we nearly turned the boat over. We didn’t know at the time but friends told us that withing minutes of us getting into difficulties rockets were fired in the town and a crew dropped whatever they were doing and flew to the life boat station and were ready to launch. Fortunately we manage to keep to keep the boat from beaching but it was nice to know that help wasn’t far away and provided by unpaid volunteers,

The C00088399 has a thermistor according to the Connect picture, I would have taken the heater out but I don’t like re fitting old ones and she wanted to use the machine.

Fixed a similar Indisit cooker last week which was definitely a Creda but this one looked Italian.

Ta, Jim I will have to call back and and do a visual on the offending parts as the rating plate was worn and I got the model from the instruction book.
