With that grill under the control panel it looks like a Creda. You could try 6102670 for the hinges.

Hi, Ghandh as well as checking the field coil is the right way round you have to remove the top part of the collar to release the carbons from the holders.

    Re: Bosch WFT2806GB/14

Turned out I had reversed the field coil, I have done this before but got no motor action so that’s what confused me. Glad I ordered an end frame as as when I got home the boss reported no spin on our old Bosch and I was down to my last set of brushes and as we are off on holiday tomorrow she would not have been impressed.

I did put the motor on spin on and off the machine but may not have left it long enough to get to the final full speed. Will check brushes and belt tension as I think it one of the Bosch motors that needs a load applied to ramp up to full pelt.

Should have added that the model no is: WF560, But I was surprised that there is pattern equivalent available, As the machine must be 3 to 4 years old.

This is what confused me, No fault code, Just pump for 10 Secs and then reverts to start. Must admit forgot to check the dryer element so will try to call back tomorrow as this tenant will not be without a washer for to long. Can’t say I blame him when the rents a grand a month.

Called back again this afternoon, Pulled the oven out but no other labels or numbers to be seen other than the usual rating plate. Customer then told me that she had a new glass fitted by Hotpoint just out of guarantee so asked her to call Hotpoint and find out if they have a record of the service call. Just a note the inner door has a bonded glass.

Cheers Bob, I will call the customer tomorrow and try to get the 5 digit number. Bit of a sod this one as I broke the glass πŸ‘Ώ Still at least it looks like the part is still available otherwise I could have been looking at a new oven.

Cheers Bob. Looking forward to it already! Thats what made me ask as the replacement seal has a plastic moulding fitted In to the ‘Chimney’ so it looked like it could be a bit fiddly, Will give myself a couple of hours just in case.

Thanks for that memory Jim 😈 The Morris Marina Van!!!!. No wonder British Leyland, went bust , I have driven some crap vans in my time , But the Morris Marina was just about the biggest pile of crap I have ever had the unfortunate experience of getting in the driving seat. I was quite young when i was issued with this pile of poo, And at that time I had owned a Mk 1 Escort an a couple of Minibins., Not the most up to date vehicles I admit but at least they had brakes that slowed you down when you pushed the middle peddle, Unlike the Marina which depending on weather conditions would try to send your head through the windscreen or send into a collision course with a : Wall, lamppost ,Pedestrian. Not one of Brums Finest.
