    We had gas check done in April, certificate I stuck on the boiler door. Mind you nice sideline to the appliance trade !

    Ok thank you for info, as we let it I think best to get a gas safe engineer to sort it.

    Was getting a bit confused with it as one company supplying the valve said that it would have to be fitted by a gas safe engineer and would req a certificate, while others say a DIY job

    Hi Martin, yes both are outside the caravan at the moment I have to go down and manually change them over with my spanner lol !

    Ive had this before, was the PCB, just make sure motor is not sparking & brushes are ok as the one i had im sure was damaged by spikes from the brushes in the motor.

    Not so much as work dead at the moment here, but more like a free advice advice clinic, getting a lot more calls of ” my hubby has just stripped down my tumble dryer etc, and with pricing up new appliances, giving all the spec checking my price to make sure its competetive making 3 or so phone calls and then nothing, in fact the phone calls have increased quite a bit but theres little money at the end of it, anyone else noticeing the same ?

    Our office had a call this morning from someone at go local wanting us to look at a hotpoint washing machine in Plymouth lol !, he is calling me back later !

    The 4th of April was when go local started on this forum telling everyone that he was doing comets chargeable repairs and needs agents, basically he must of set the company up that day !.

    The question of does Go local reactive or Go local repairs actually have a national repair contract with comet, still has not been answered !

    I think there is quite a bit of explaining needed from Go Local, did anyone here actually sign up with him ?, i basically thought things were not sounding right earlier in this thread and did want to go any futher with joining up with him.

    How do engineers get paid when you offer free call outs and the customer does not accept the repair estimate ?.

    Hi we are set up as daewoo agents , but have never been sent any repair work. I have sold a handfull of daewoo w/ms, but hardly anyone stocks them anymore so for us it’s been a bit of a non starter.

    So basically you are doing chargeable not warranty repairs being passed on by comet ?.
