Re: flavel 100 aspen dual cooker

i have found this info on the web kwatt, and was wondering if it rings any bells with yourself..I had the same problem real easy fix
The thermal fuse is at the rear behind the oven.
First remove the rear panels, you will need to take the middle cover off first then you can take off the lower rear panel, as its the left side (looking from the back) you will have no problems with the mains connector as its on the other side.
Once the rear panel is off you need to look for a brown wire, at some point on the wire you see some red or black rubber heat shrink. Remove the heat shrink by sliding off to one side or just cut it. now the thermal fuse is exposed its only a small thing and you can get a replacment Idealy you should crimp or solder it in if not use chok block and cover it in insulating tape.

Re: flavel 100 aspen dual cooker

well im still coooking the roast on one side… so gathering info before i attack.

im going to check for voltage at element and if theres voltage il suspect the element. and i think the element should be 18 ohms, not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} tho…. but that still leaves the clock on front and the ignitor…. but maybe they run off the element. thanks for re0plying
