    Re: Indesit Smart Card

Thanks all, but I might be acting thick but I will still have to purchase a blank EEPROM, how do I programme it.
The original problem was the dispenser not operating, the soleniod tests OK so I blame the module, then I get into this pickle, brand new module fitted on the machine AO9 appears on the screen, UGH! I can’t see a EEPROM fitted but 8 holes where I think one should be, there started my headache. Thinks order EEPROM,find it on Connect “BLANK” get out of that one. Ofcourse the friendly engineers on Whitegoods will help, please put me straight.

Thanks Flyman, but I think the EEPROM comes “BLANK” so I will still need to programme it.

Thanks iadom, the dishwasher I have a problem with has a plug for the hardware key so I think I do need a smart card and smart card reader. So how do I go about getting Pathfinder?

    Thanks nigegt,
Does anybody know the Part No’s for the different cards, this seems bit of a minefield to me. Why do Indesit not supply the card with the module, I’ve got a module for a dishwasher FDW80P on fitting it I get A09 fault code, communication problem, where do you go from here?

Thanks Iadom, now I can see what things are, could’nt figure out where the NTC was, see it now on the board, can’t see how it senses the temperture though.

Thanks Martin, I did see that in the Whitegoods fault code booklet but did not realise they kept the same code throughout their range, it will be the module then, they are expensive, think I’ll point her to her 5 year parts cover.

Freezer thermistor 2600283, or Indesit No C00216809, Green Plug. Evaporator thermistor 2601683 or Indesit No C00218184, Yellow Plug. I give you both Nos as I believe Hotpoint are in the process of changing to Indesit part Nos. Best of luck.
