Is there an ice build up on the evaporator, check the air ducts to the fridge are not blocked with ice, is the fan working, is the compressor cooling fan working. Remove grill from bottom front is it blocked up with pet fur. If everything seems OK change the evaporator and freezer thermistors.

I’d go for the plug or wall socket, can smell rotten when warm.

Thanks for all the help, I told him it would need a new motor in the end, at £179.00+VAT, I should think he did say no thanks.

Well the Belt looked tight although I never checked it, I will now check that, never known that to be a problem before though. Still at this stage I’ll believe anything.

Motor seems ok it speeds up ready to spin so I think the spin windings are OK, worth a check though, the capacitor is OK as it serves for the wash windings as well and there is nothing wrong with wash side. Think I’ll go for the pressure switch, but keep the motor in mind, bet they cost an arm and a leg.

There is no pressure hose blockage. Is the Pressure Switch a one level switch as I only get one click when I blow up it ?

    Hi aqualectric,
Do the triacs switch on neutral? I did have lives to all connections to all valves except this one.

Do you think you ought to endorse the invoice to cover any possible call back.

    Re: Bosch fridge/freezer

    Hi.
Well I went to do the MOD today, my top wire was light blue not dark blue, but I carried on and did it, working on the position of the wires instead of colour. It went well the machine ran on “switch on” the back wall of the fridge iced up, so I left with my fingers crossed. thanks for your help.
    John.
