    No I have not because it does not stop and hum it just keeps going one way

    I have now replaced the timer with a new one from UK White Goods, but the problem persists, it only rotates one way except very occastionally it briefly reverses direction.

    Model Number is 48163 and the serial number is 37100278.

    I have a similar problem on the same cooker. The thermostat controls temperature to +or minus 5 deg C but at a level 40 deg c above the dial setting.
    Is it possibe to get rid of this offset by by rotating the temperature indicator relative to the thermostat.
