    As an engineer going out to these daily, it worrie’s me that I don’t know what to look for that is causing this problem.

    The thermal cut out was modified a couple of years ago with more padding so it did not touch the evaporator, could this arc and burn through.

    We need to know I do not wan’t to cause a death or injury.

    Last year I regassed a 600a fridge that was low in gas, and 3 days later it went bang, did not do much damage but now I don’t regas any unit that has lost its gas.

    The element from connect is A025628 @ £11.89 or patern ELE9123 @£5.85

    P038435 is same part though one is used in the 90 range bottom element.

    Quite a common fault, though I would check comp windings.

    Had one today WM full of water old dear had taken cothes out. Then tells me she had been sick and diarrhoea put it all in machine so this was what was blocking filter, slowly drained it with great expectations of a smelly mess ?

    To be met with a twig jamming impellor one happy engineer.
