Re: Blomberg 1301ABB washing m/c door seal

The door seal on this appliance is one of the most difficult to change, even
us doing all makes dread this one.

There will be a few engineers that may find it easy I have take 25 minutes and 2 hours when it has then just fallen into place doing the screw up round the band is a slow tedious job.

    Best of Luck Kirk.

Well I won’t be going near anything JT is involved in, at the last NESN meeting he was at he made it clear I would be prosecuted if I stepped out of line.

I actually broke a big toe lifting down a tumle dryer when the lid came off so now safety shoes a must.

The only time I have removed my shoes is respecting others religion.

    Re: Shoes Off please

I have allways refused to do it and use health and safety, though being VERY considerate I bought a box of a hundred plastic shoe covers, the only problem they are always in the van and its always to much trouble to go and get them.
My biggest hate is being told to go round to the back door I use to refuse but now charge extra for being a Tradesman!

If you are changing the stat watch out for which gas it uses as in this unit it is critical.

Re: Fleet Policy – Low Cost Vans

I run 3 new Traffics full electric and air con, well two are 15 months old and have done 42& 46 thousand miles both needed new disc pads front and rear at 36000 both had new front tyres at 40000, the one I drive returns 750 to 85 litres the other two about 650 to 80 litres.

The one at 46000 is now showing a fault at 2500 revs then clears itself hopefully it is just needing rebooted but does sound bad will find out Tues.

The other one is 9 months old and done 16000 no problems my son runs the Nissan version and it has just been as reliable.

A friend has one and it has had 4 gearboxes but he does drive badly and it is company van.

Re: Bosch Classix (WFX3267) marking clothes with regular pat

Do you live in a hard water area? we get called out on a regular basis.

It s a combination of hard water and 40 degree washes, carry out a service wash: 90 degree with a cupful of washing soda it may take a couple of washes to clear it.

    Best of luck Kirk

Tony the usual fault when stuck on auto is switch off at mains and on again, as you have changed the timer perhaps the other one is a faulty button as the new clocks don’t normally come with them.

If you have done both best of luck.

Re: Please give me some credit!!!

I have personally done this and it was a total waste of time.

They all promise you the earth then every week you have to call on them because they don’t turn up and pay you, then all the excuses why they can’t pay you this week.

When the miners strike was on I also helped about 200 no labour just parts I had three come in and pay when they went back to work.

So if you want to chase around after dead money and get adgitated through being suckered go ahead.

    Re: Connect/ Sevice Force?

This rumour was started in an area that there had been problems in and I do not know if it was the Service Force that approached CDSL.
I do think it strange that they would just farm out some of the work who would do the rest!
So please strike this rumour off.

Re: Blomberg CFFN 311 not working properly

This was not the best unit ever made. The pipe should be warm to hot while it is running.
I still think that when you had it in the utility room it was to cold perhaps an extra cold spell especially if it seems ok now.
We always get calls at this time of year for this fault.
