    Re: EAC Rumours

I heard a similar story and that it was Brandt that caused the problem, due to there being new owners they were being very diligent in trying to recoup some cash flow, but also there is something going on with Stoves all their eng are at a meeting next week! with the cross training something is afoot.

    Re: KENWOOD KDW12SS Dishwasher

One of the common faults is water leaking from the door ? and going into sump which puts the machine in anti flood mode, so untill water is removed or dries out it stays in the fault mode. I have come across some of the cheap dishwasher powders causing this.
I do dread going to them. Kirk

Also if your Hot water is to hot it will turn the softener crystals to jelly and stop it working. Kirk

A thin long cable tie fits into the jets nicely and does the job well.

Very similar to the ones we used on the old Zanussi spyder the three inner bolts.

    Re: Hotpoint WMA31P motor

Firstly you must not connect the motor to direct mains this a workshop test in a vice and only proves the armature and brushes ok or faulty.

There are two different motors used one has the brushes either side the other are top and bottom.

Did you put the motor plug in correctly as it can fit either way and must be fitted with the wires facing up. If you fitted it wrongly it will have blown the module so no motor action.

You sound very competant with electrics but I feel you need to call in someone to save you money in the long run.

    Re: Liebherr fridge door.

it is very rare for the fault to be the fridge hinges, it is nearly always the external door sliders catching.
