    Re: Samsung P1253 Error Codes

Cheers, it did resolve it by turning it off and on, but surely this isn’t long term…

I sent a request to the following:

    Kingswood Appliances
    S Foster Domestic Appliances Ltd
    G.T. Electrical
    Huby Domestic Appliances

Kingswood Appliances was the one I used as they contacted me very quickly, the price was very competitive and very friendly.

G T Electrical took longer than 24 hours to contact me and between the other 2 one was very expensive and the other didn’t even bother to contact me…

    Jim.

This was sorted no problem at all by the engineer and was very happy. It was a problem with the door and only cost the call out fee. Where do I give feedback about the company?

I had a look and saw what all I can describe is a metal strip. Other than that I have no idea….

Mains plug out and a test meter required.

    jim.

Is there any other way of testing it as I have no test meter, unless you can point me in the right direction of buying one and then a crash course on how to use it….

iadom wrote:It could be a simple door switch fault, is the little plastic peg still attached to the inside of the door at around 12 o’clock?

    Jim.

It appears OK, but the door does have a tendency to open when the dryer is on. I presumed this could be down to the amount of washing inside.

No, none are flashing. The red power light is on and so is the empty water filter light.

Yes, all the muck and goo will fall off. You’ll be able to mop up most of it, but some will wash down inside. This is the point at which you perform a sevice wash:

The drawer itself is spotless, but it is the slot it fits into that needs cleaning. If I was to use a brush etc wouldn’t it fall and block tubes etc?
