    If the syphon is working when you fill it manually, then logically it isn’t getting water when it’s in the machine. Check the holes in the roof of the soap box.

    Yes that is slimey and scummy as I don’t know what. What is the best way of cleaning that?

    When I pull out the drawer it has a small blue square thing that can be removed and cleaned. Is there anything else?

    I’m all sorted now. Engineer has been fixed the problem I thought it was. Still under warranty and I didn’t have to have proof of purchase..

    Any unit purchased prior to 01.05.2006 has this warranty. Anything after that is a 12 month warranty

    Thanks for that. This has just been confirmed by Samsung and I get an engineer on Wednesday.

    Once the impellor comes off, it will not stay back on, so replacement is your only option.

    Power off, if you’re going to do this yourself.
