I have read this thread in detail and have listened to the sound and the one i have is doing the same.

It was a faulty GENUINE thermostat,being honest I was going round in circles on this,yet the more i thought about it,It had to have been the stat!!

Yes,Roy1 the knob does have two pointers but they are both lined up with each other.

The stat operates to 140 deg with the motor still running and then the stat just cycles.
She has been a combi microwave all this time!!kladave

Well iv’e been told to go on the course,due to the fact if I accept the points and decline the course if the police catch you speeding again the course is not an option 2nd time round.It’s points!!

Ok i’ll put my hands up…Iv’e been done for speeding but what I didn’t know was that the camera van was on the opposite side of the carriageway tucked into a layby.
Now i have to make a decsion to have points or go on the course.kladave

We will do but that ain’t the point it’s the principle of it all.The part was less than a tenner and people who read this will say’ it’s only a tenner move on’ but i just can’t let the public walk all over us!

Well being honest with you I was quite suprised to see anyone from TS as I thought their budgets were being squeezed,so i assumed less staff :rolls:

You say you have washed the filter (blue sponge)but you have to wash the yellow outer as well.
