KeymasterMy problem with this sort of stuff is well documented and I even fired together a small presentation for the conference about it if we’ve time.
Suffice to say though my sentiments are kinda strong views some might argue and not because I have a dog in this hunt as it were but, because I don’t, I can say what I like. And I can share those thoughts as I please with impunity. 😉
And that I still believe that signing up to this kinda service is akin to not only committing commercial suicide but welcoming it with open arms and running out the red carpet with a fanfare to that. Not good.

KeymasterLooks like some web marketing dude that’s gonna hoover up as much web enquiries as he can get his mitts on, then pass it back to you for a fee, basically.
So, yet another freeloader that wants to cream it off the work you’d probably get anyway without paying them for it. In my personal opinion only of course.
Though, it does serve as a timely reminder to some to get their own websites sorted as you can beat this rubbish.

KeymasterOr the capacitor, or the module.

KeymasterThe best you can hope for is a drum and that’ll be £80 or so at least. So probably not worth doing it on a budget machine like that.

KeymasterMost all of them, it’s this one:
The modules go as well but not as common I don’t think.

KeymasterFrom what I can gather it is just volume of small orders coupled with carrier issues.
To be fair, all suffer from carrier issues, a problem that is deeply frustrating at times.
What you probably don’t know is that most “next day delivery” services actually aren’t, what they actually are is “mostly next day” services and when they get busy any smaller contracts get bumped back. That happens all the time and all the more so when some big retailers etc are all busy, like Christmas time for example.
To get true guaranteed, in tablets of stone next day delivery is hugely expensive and none of them can offer it on the margins in this industry, not a hope of it.

KeymasterI zapped them.

KeymasterIt might help if it wasn’t (seemingly) restricted to 0800 for service and parts and the distribution was a bit better. 😉

KeymasterYou will need some way to check it’s not shorting or gone to earth. A multimeter will only get you so far with trip faults unless they’re fairly obvious.
