KeymasterI wanted my one-click ban button back.. oooh the POOOOWER!!! 😀
But sadly it seems I can’t have it back or, at least not yet.
Sudeep had to go sleep though, poor bugger was up most of the night doing all this and I’ve been fixing stuff all day on the fly.

KeymasterTBH, nothing really, they’ve been unused for a long time. Might delete them.

KeymasterA lot are and for some there are replacements but it’s model/range specific.

KeymasterThis is all new, finding stuff is ehm, difficult and I am not sure where you mean Jim.

KeymasterAt a guess, something to do with permissions in the moderation of each but figuring that out is a whole other thing as it’s vast!
I will try to work it out.

KeymasterYeah, the plan was always to get here, we just had to go a roundabout way to do it due to database and so on as we had to lift the main content side, then the forums in order to allow the various upgrades to be carried out and, taking the site offline for days wasn’t a viable option.
But I am pleased with it, much more clean, fresh and modern than it was in terms of looks.
From an admin perspective, there’s way, way more control than ever we had before and over the next few days, some bits and bobs to add that should hopefully make moderation a lot easier as well as tools to stop spammers before they even post.
Part of the issue was that we would be forced to move from phpBB3 to whatever was next and the new version of that, whilst easier to migrate to, wouldn’t have given the control and performance bumps that we got with VB nor any of the funky stuff like social media integrations and so on.

KeymasterThis is the final version, you should find that the views on mobile are now improved. There may well be subtle changes as we go and learn more about the new platform, just so you know.
The forum search will improve as the indexes rebuild but, with so much here that takes a while.
Any issues please let me or Sudeep know and we will do our best to sort them.
All in all though, it is much improved.

KeymasterOkay so, overnight Sudeep (he’s a star) is planning to give the forum a nip, tuck and facelift.
It’ll be offline through the night for 1-2 hours.
When it comes back online it’ll be with a new look totally and a bunch of stuff tidied up. At that point work can start in earnest fixing things although I do think I ought to give it 24 hours to let Sudeep get some kip.

KeymasterYeah, I changed it to make that the default just after the new forums went live as before that it’s set to off IIRC.

KeymasterAll these cabinets, the position of the sensor varies and (I think) which is used where so most of the repairers just have the two often changing both to ensure they kill the problem.
To find them, you need to follow the wiring and dig them out, keep in mind that these were never intended to be replaced and this is a field mod in effect that is not in any way, shape or form offered with support for the general public to do it. So, Beko assumes that a pro repairer and not amateurs will do this, therefore, the chances of instructions are pretty much zero.
Just in the same way that Ford doesn’t offer step by step guides on how to repair their cars or modify them etc.
About as much as you can expect can be found here:
Beyond this I am afraid it’s purely down to the skill of the person repairing it with many of these units.

KeymasterNa, that was a cache thing, sorted now and thanks for letting me know.
