KeymasterRe: norfrost chest freezer
Seems like it’s reached the end I’m afraid as that sounds like a classic weak compressor.

KeymasterRe: What bearing kit do I need
According to the spares and technical information for that model, it has a sealed tub or tank, therefore bearings cannot be replaced I’m afraid.
This is very common now on many different brands and there is more information on these types of tub design here that will explain in more depth about them:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/buyi … -care.html
You can, of course, buy a full tank unit but in most cases, we wouldn’t advise that as it’s normally uneconomical.

KeymasterRe: Problems with my Panasonic NA-140VS4.
Steam pump is part number AXW8C-8CV0 and listed at about £45 but where it is in there I’ve no idea. The diagram isn’t all that great.
But do bear in mind what’s explained here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix- … ault-codes
Although it indicates that’s the problem area it is not definitive that this is the problem component.

KeymasterRe: Problems with my Panasonic NA-140VS4.
Thre is no F73 listed but H73 is an error with the steam pump unit, whatever that is but no explanation is given on what may cause it only to switch off to clear it.

KeymasterRe: Which American style fridge freezer?
The RS series from Samsung is all but obsolete now, many parts you cannot get so in my opinion, not worth spending much on them.
But do take the time to read that article and that will explain what you are seeing.

KeymasterRe: Lg showing fault code oe
Outlet Error is the code meaning so, all it means is that the machine cannot detect that it has drained, not necessarily that it has not physically drained.
So it can be a pressure sensor issue, blockage to the pressure sensor or something more malign in the electronics that is causing it not to recognise that the machine has emptied.

KeymasterRe: Hotpoint RLA36 Compressor Suddenly Noisy & Hot
Hi Jeremy,
You kinda answered it for yourself, the compressor is kaput and that’s a repair bill of going on for £200 or so therefore probably the best option is a new machine.

KeymasterRe: Give up on Smeg fridge freezer?
Compressor and or valve, possible.
But what’s described sounds more like a sensor failure to me. More so if the temperatures were erratic.
No way to know for sure without knowing more but, were I to guess….

KeymasterRe: Bush BFFF48144W Fridge / Freezer – Fridge Too Cold
Probably, but not guaranteed to be, the fridge sensor.
I’d need the full serial number to find the correct one for you.

KeymasterRe: Liebherr GNP 4166 air sensor problem
On service manuals please see:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix- … ce-manuals

KeymasterRe: Samsung RL38 leaking
Full defrost is about all you can do to get into it and, there’s a fair chance that’d cure it if there’s not a fault with the defrosting or a sensor.

KeymasterRe: In search of the fourth cord
This is another one…
samsung-rs21ncsv-advice-sought-t97134.html
Been on emails so I can’t answer him but wants something for nothing basically on an ancient Sammy that half the parts are obsolete on.
I’m amazed Samsung have even agreed to do it let alone anything else. If that’s the truth of course.

Bizarrely it seems to come in two parts that are 92131739 and 92130541.
