    Re: Engineer search

No, I mean your account on the engineer search.

If that’s not active it won’t show any results.

Sudeep would probably be able to find out but I cant see why unless the account isn’t live, then it wouldn’t.

    Re: Engineer search

The engineer search reads and finds addresses from Google so, if it doesn’t find it usually neither will Google. 😕

Google is of course updated using the RM PAF file so if there’s an error it’s usually with the PAF file from RM and, it does happen, there’s bog all anyone can do about it either.

Re: Smeg or Fisher & Paykel Range Cooker

    Well, depends.

If the F&P is a rebranded Delonghi then on a par or not as good. Think Kenwood, Elba etc.

If it’s a real F&P (doubtful at a similar price point) then the F&P is better.

It’s a template Mark that I don’t know how much control we’ve got over but will ask.

Normal web fare these days is to use the logo for the home button, saves space.

Yes and yes, so far as I know. No need for a recall or more investigation, I’m sure a number of people will be disappointed by this news.

They’re all inert lumps till you set them on fire somehow. 😉

Re: Best range style cookers to buy in UK?

For modern Britannia ones, as Steve says, search for Ilve instead. And yes, they are good.

The new Britannia ones are all Bertazonni made… I believe but it’s now under Glen Dimplex so could be anything. Bertazonni is good also, probably more or less on a par with Ilve.

Smeg are okay but you do pay for the style and badge a bit.

Don, some of the new Falcon and Rangemaster stuff has been Vestel made, ’nuff said. And a few even made by Termikel which you really, really do not want.

Let it settle and clear naturally, might a day or two.

Run the rinse hold (cold rinse only) a few times.

Say a little prayer and hope it’s okay.

    Re: Guinea Pigs Y’all

Done and yeah, account needs created to use it but it’s not too painful.

There may be a lot on there once we get it all up and running, let’s just say there are some interested parties. 😉
