Honestly Dave, I’m still trying to figure that out, why.
I think its as I didn’t support his money making scheme that was, basically, the free engineer search on here but making the guys pay to get work from it.
After that I’m convinced he had a mental collapse or something, business folded, he ran off to the North of England and so on.

I don’t think he’s indicative of the Welsh nation, just a tw4t. 😉
I am however considering contacting the police about it as I’ve pretty much had enough and these days, there’s specialists that deal with this stuff as it’s become a big problem.
I don’t think he’s bright enough to realise the everything is saved, all the abusive mails, texts and so on. So, there’s loads of evidence.

Yup.
I get wind of stuff from various places, that one highlighted by a friend given the nature and rather obvious and crude attempt to cause harm.

Some Facebook group used essentially to recruit engineers, Concept I think, the people that were at the meeting.
Search FB for COMCAT and you’ll find it, closed group though.

KeymasterRe: Adrian Welke
That ain’t the half of it!
Threatening phone calls, text messages, bad mouthing everywhere he gets an opening… all toward myself.
Or, Lawrence gets it.
Usually when he gets pissed up watching the rugby, worse when Wales loses and so on.
His strength is that he’s a bullshitter, he talks a good game, gets people’s confidence then every time seems to f**k them over big time in the end. It’s sad but, many people have fallen into the trap, even a some that have a brain.
I don’t want anything to do with him, don’t talk to him, rarely talk about him if ever and yet, you see this sort of cr4p online.
If nothing else though, it’s entertainment as he just keeps on making himself out to be a bigger and bigger idiot.
What gets me in that is the sheer audacity to state that I’m “dodgy”, really, seriously?

KeymasterRe: Adrian Welke
He just refuses to go away, almost five years after getting told to go forth…
I didn’t realise that UKW had been down at all the past week or more.
What he doesn’t know is that the company he’s uncovered is mothballed and was put there as a defence mechanism against Amica playing silly buggers. As in, I could afford to transfer it all to a new shell if they put us in a position whereby there were no other option and, if he’d bothered to look, he’d see it was so.
Although he’s probably pissed that some of his customers for his service call system have defected to using rapport… maybe because it’s a just a little better in almost every way or…
As one defector said, “you’re one phone call away from a massive bust up rant”.
Two of them cannot get their data back from him, he refuses to give it to them which, to me, is just disgusting as it’s not his data and that is just blackmail.
One says that his customers have been contacted with a view to selling them stuff by NAC or whatever he’s trading as this week.
I however, don’t see the requirement to go about on social media shouting off about it.

KeymasterRe: Lamona Door handle
Lamona/Glen Dimplex at their brilliant best I’m afraid and, completely ripping people off for parts in my opinion.
That handle is this one in our store:
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/41019964 … oor-handle
Half the price.
The “bush” they’re on about is the small “bushings” they’re really called in the diagram attached, item 179.
They are correct on the screws though and, in all honesty, it’s extremely common that you need togo to an ironmonger or something to source that sort of thing and, as you can see they’re not shown as a part so that is the case here.
Hope that helps.

KeymasterRe: How many repairs
Yeah but your customers aren’t paying you £120 a year or more for your service and it could be a lot more if there’s other product under cover by them so, worth it to an insurer to keep the customer happy.

KeymasterRe: Britannia range – SIE10TGRA-BR Hinges
Common ones are:
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/a02840-b … door-hinge
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/a02844-b … door-hinge
So long as it’s later than 1997.
Common brass control knob for the 9 function oven is:

I think you’ll find CDSL rather expensive. 😉

KeymasterRe: Britannia range – SIE10TGRA-BR Hinges
You need to know how old it is as it can use two different hinge types depending on the age, serial number will do for that.
Then if you know the door widths life get a heap easier but most are a 60 and 40 cm widths.
Oven knob you’re better knowing how many functions it is.
TBH most of those parts are easy to find in the store so long as you know that stuff.

KeymasterRe: more changes at Qualtex
Yeah like QUAFIL132, suggested RRP on Qualtex trade site is £3.68 yet they’re flogging it openly on Amazon under the Qualtex name for £2.49 including delivery!
Yet if you ordered a one-off you’d pay £1 odds then a fiver delivery, mad.
Apparently the notion of supporting the trade would certainly appear to have been tossed out.

KeymasterRe: more changes at Qualtex
I gotta say, at first it sorta made some sense as in culling accounts or I could at least see some logic in it as it could reduce costs.
Most of the stuff I’ve seen since just makes no sense at all.
But Dave’s had a pop on a few parts being sold through retail channels at lower than our trade prices on the Qualtex site so, we just dropped buying a bunch of stuff from Qualtex.
Makes no odds to me where we get parts really.

KeymasterRe: Who is selling ?
I’ve no clue what the legal position in Spain is but in the UK your customer is dead wrong.
There is no automatic right to replacement outside the first six months per the Consumer Right Act. Even within it there’s not really although this new act makes it a lot easier for consumers to get one.
Funny they found a leak after replacing the compressor though, who’d have thought it’d last near two years, a compressor replacement then as if by magic spring a leak eh?
You might find this of use when dealing with Teka. Basically, I’d think they’d “messed” up the repair, the fridge guys on here are all too used to seeing that sort of thing happen.
And no, if the customer accepts a settlement then, pretty much, that’s the end of the road here.
