ParticipantI’m guessing that a fault has developed with the PCB board. I’ve had issues with these in the past (I’m an oven cleaner too). Only ever with Neff, and it’s always been to do with the lamp.

This oven does have a locking mechanism, which is for the Pyrolytic function, it’s located in the top centre; I can’t see a trigger in the top left of the cavity though, I initially thought of it being there too. Judging by how the trigger works on the Miele combi next to it, I have a feeling it’s part of the hinge mechanism.manwithaplan

Regarding the thermal cutout; I thought a faulty one would prevent the oven working?
