What is the general consensus with Gorenje? Their dishwasher is keenly priced and has a 2 year warranty the same as the Bosch. I can get it for £269. Cheapest i can find for the Bosch is £399 so a fair bit of difference.

Same with the oven. The top of the range Gorenje has a 5 year warranty, is touch screen and has every function and some more. BD2136AX is the model number. I’ve found it for around the £600 mark. Never really heard of them before though. Cheapest Bosch oven is around the same price but no where near the functions or guarantee.

The hob is down to the look more than anything with the electrolux. It’s 5 burner gas on glass. I’m looking for something just like it. Can a lot go wrong with a hob though?

With the samsung having a warranty of 5 years surely that is got to be a good thing? What kind of thing is recommended. Didn’t want to spend much more though.

    Thanks again for your help

That kind of decides it for me then. The Siemens one is good value at £399 so i’ll get that i think. Nothing really touches them i’m led to believe? Other than Miele of course.

One thing i can’t seem to get hold of a pdf manual for the Siemens though? I was sent a link on a previous thread but when i go through to the manuals it doesn’t link to anything.

Just wanted to now what was the quickest wash this will do?

Tell me what? I’ve just found the Panasonic machine and as it came with a 5 year guarantee + a very respected brand name i thought i might gauge an opinion on them.

Seems that they have been making washing machines for years and are brand leaders out in the far east.

    Re: Siemens WM14E162GB any good?

I have a diplomat built in washer at the moment and am considering ditching it as it has a poor spin speed, a small drum and a very long quick wash programme.

This seems a very good price for a good brand, how much of a better machine is this one compared to my one at the moment?

Don’t think i’m throwing money down the drain as i’m not. I have just built a utility room and have only taken cold water out to it. So as this is cold fill only and my machine at the moment is dual i wouldn’t have to fit a water heater in there.

    Re: Machine Identification Required

I have this ashing machine and i’d like a manual for it. Are they available?

Mine is branded under Diplomat and the model is 8512.

Is there a generic manual for all these?

How reliable are these machines? I fear that repairing this machine will only result in me paying out again in the near future?

    Re: Arms not spinning

Water is coming out of both arms but when i quickly pull down the door they don’t seem to be moving. I put them in a certain place push the door closed and then reopen after 30 seconds or so and they are in the same place.
