    Re: The Fault Code Guide

Hi K and all behind this app

So so glad to have this app. I’ve been waiting with baited breath for it for so long and sorry for nagging for it so much.

As to all who is complaining about the price. Speaking from experience as an ex computer/software engineer the man hours alone to get such an app to the market, is so overwhelming that very few of you could every comprehend.

This app should be costing four times the price or maybe more. So as the old saying goes,

DO NOT LOOK A GIFT HORSE IN THE MOUTH

    Thanks again.

    Re: Zanussi ZWF12070W1 Start/Pause flashing

    Will be a earth fault.posting.php?mode=reply&f=3&t=73516#

I’ve had 6 Zauuissi W/D with same fault abd all been low insulation.
If you get into the diagnostics it should come up with DM- or DB- fault. If so megger the normal stuff and one will be to low and the PCB.

    Hi Bobby.

If all the light are flashing then I would check the CAPACITOR on PCB it you look at SIMPLE PCB REPAIR TIPS on the forum and it the first posting.

With any W/D that has unknown fault I always disconnect dryer element they bring up all sorts of weird fault. Try it before the PCB just in case.

A student landlord I do some work for, brought a job lot of these and really having seen 20 or so of them over the past few years. They are not bad W/D. No real issues with blockages the reset should have done the trick.

It looks like the thermostats are riveted to the element assembly. If you could remove the rivets you could use a small nut and bolt or self tapper instead. If you can find the thermostat rating…

    Re: Hotpoint EW 41 cooker

I downloaded a copy of that manual for a customer last month, just had a look though it and it says that the top oven and grill are controlled by the grill door micro switch. As if grill door open grill works. Off closed the top oven works.
If you would like a copyright I can email you it.
