Its part num’ E20559000BPThanks but no!
If you look at the grill element in the top of the oven cavity, it is the square plate – with what looks like a coating similar to that found in self-cleaning conventional ovens – above the grill element.
I could attach a photo if that makes life easier.
I don’t want to scrap this unit for want of a simple bit of steel.

Thanks
Wouldn’t a blocked filter affect all the functions that require operation of the pump?
It’s only during the programmed washes that the problem occurs.
I will check the filter though.

Do you agree with gdownes’ suggestion that the fan motor is accessed from outside the back of the oven and not through the interior?

It looks like it’s a removal job to acess the back and removal of the motor should be easy after taking off the fan and removing the rear cover

Thanks George, so it’s removed from outside? Will there not be plenty of insulation in the way?

‘s what I feared. Lost as in broken or as in unhooked. The later would seem unlikely.
Spared part?
Hopefully it isn’t as heavy as the (AEG) washing machine that required extraction a month or so ago so that I could tighten the cold water feed connection.

Sorry. Thought it better to wait for requests for further info rather than flood the post.
It’s an AEG Favorite 64070VIL PNC 911986009/001 Type 911D96-2T
