    Re: Bosch F21 Error

    Hi
To enter the test mode on that machine follow instructions bellow

    – Close the door
    – Set program selector switch to position 0 (“OFF”)
    – Wait two seconds
    – Set program selector switch to position 8
    – Wait until the start LED is flashing. (will take about two seconds)

    – Wait two seconds
    – press and hold Reduce spin speed button
    – Set program selector switch to position 9
    – Release the โ€œSpin speedโ€ button.

The machine should then be ready to be tested.

The end LED flashing twice at the end of a cycle would indicate an emptying fault.
At the start of the programme the pump should run for a few seconds if this fails to happen then the programme will abort, which sounds like what is happening to your machine. A competent person “with the power to the machine off” should be able to determine whether the pump is being obstructed or failing to run.

    Re: duel cookers

I no longer carry out repairs to dual fuel cookers, as I cannot carry out the necessary safety tests on the gas side.

I prefer to get a good nights sleep.

Thanks very much, I have just retrieved your email from my over zealous spam folder. I will study it tonight when I can get a little more peace.

    Thanks again

    Re: “Big Bosch Big Headache”

    Thanks for the reply Pinky.
There was no sign of any water leak from bearing.
The earth leakage reading were ok, they certainly didn’t give me any suggestion that there was anything to worry about.
The machine is in a steading but it is dry and I noticed no signs of any mice, but it possible.

I’m still confused ๐Ÿ˜• The machine is miles away so a return visit is out of the question unless I get another job in the area.
I think I will have to throw some spares prices at the customer and see how they feel.

I am not even on the list ๐Ÿ˜•
I have been checking through my outstanding invoices to them, and all of them are for appliances bought from Howdens, I wonder if there is any point chasing them, as the retailer, for the money.

    Re: Service Power?

After declining jobs from servicepwer because of payment issues, I have had an email saying that UK NET who used to make the payments are no longer part of Servicpower.
It says no more nor gives any details of how payments are to be made from now on. ๐Ÿ˜•

    Re: Service Power?

I have had service power on stop since early October until they brought my payments up to date. I received the last payment due to me on Friday. I am aware that they have further jobs for me, but I don’t think I can take the risk. They have always been erratic payers, but in today’s financial climate it seems too risky.
Hopefully it will be positive news tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath.

    Hi all.
I have had a message from Teka asking me to look at an oven in my area. However some of the reading on this site about them recently does not fill me with confidence. What is the general opinion about payment and spares availability etc.

    Cheers

Re: Bosch dish repair it yourself

I have been told this by customers on several occasions. It always makes me slightly concerned about carrying out the repair afterwards, who knows how far a customer will go before deciding that they need an engineer after all.
