    Re: CDSL

    Good evening all,
    Thought I’d put my 2 pennyworth in… 😀

Kevin is quite right in all he says. We enjoy a good relationship with CDSL. Any problems or hiccups and a phone call usually sorts it. Telephone staff very easy to get on with, and we seem to be building a good relationship with them. Spares are usually next day, providing Omega get it right! We are able to track all spares within hours of order and can see what is on back order list.
Payments on time, LG included. No probs with LG other than the usual serial number requirement and one or two minor checks with the customer paperwork.
DP is very approachable and will listen, talk and implement if necessary. We are not exclusively tied to Connect and provided our other work does not affect our performance for our Connect customers we have no hassles in that direction.
Web Site relatively easy to use and has similarities to our own software. Bit of a pig having to duplicate jobs on our system but there you go a little rain gotta fall sometime….
Work increasing, halleluyah keep it comming I say!

    Re: Mobile Communications

    Hi Lawrence,

Used to have a Nokia mobile. Great for texting. Went blue tooth 2 years ago and changed to Sony Erikson. Havnt looked back, am now about to issue my engineers with Panasonic handsets with blue tooth earpieces.

With my Sony P800 I dont need a car kit. Its voice activated and with the phone attached to my belt or in a pocket I am completely hands free!!!!!
Get some funny looks off customers though when I appear to be talking to their washing machine!! Only have to say answer when phone rings or busy and caller gets busy tone.

The earpiece stays attached to my ear mostly day and night (nick-named as by Borg implant) and I forget its there most of the time….

The only thing I would advise though is that your earpiece needs to be compatable with your phone i.e. Sony + Sony, Nokia + Nokia, less problems that way.

Must say I had some fun setting up the voice activation. Found if in a noisy place whilst setting up, the headset gave false readings and often found myself talking to the mother in law instead of the wife. 😳

Definitely worth the money. P800/P900 + Sony Erikson HBH35. Perservere and go for full voice activation. Its surprising what you can be doing whilst answering the phone with your hands free!!…. Like driving, invoicing, repairing washing machines and many other things that occur to you as time goes on….
    Have fun!!!!!! 😆
