i allways fit the hot tap blanks got mine from glm unifit cant remember price off hand but saves a fortune in insurance costs dont they.

most machines i have swaped recently i also hadto swap the taps due to them not shutting off propely 😳 this is why when new taps go on i make sure to fit the blank if needed

    Re: scary microwave

problem is people take these places for granted they dont see what goes on in the backs of cafe’s or takeaways i have fixed many of the pub microwaves all very good conditon. worst one was for a bedroom company in bilston in there staff canteen the inside of the door has its protective plastic coating pealing off and the metal behind was all rusty took me ages to strip it and respray the thing 😥 and then they took months to pay up.

    Re: irish tree pruning

might well be. worst thing this tree was cut down and left lying in a road with cones around it as it was too large to move and moved next day. not a main road but a small avenue. cars hadto drive across somebodys garden to get past it 😆

    Re: irish tree pruning

i spoke to the people cutting the trees and they had irish accents indeed
no saftey clothing or hard hats no ideas on how to cut the trees. plus the trees they were cutting are on council land. and done during evening and weekend times. the branch that they cut fell and leaned against a tree and over a shed roof. they had a rope around it and managed to pull it away from falling on the shed but smashed the fence instead :snigger:

    Re: Earth bonding

i can ask a few lads i know but im shure its safe either way. have you seen the new earth clamps ? all plastic and can be put on by a kinda ratchet locking system ( like on some washer pumps and door boots ) and they make use of only the bare earth wire touching the pipe 😯
