    Re: Electrician advice

the one comming on day and night is faulty replace it. like previousley said the pir works off moving heat like somebody or a pet or animal passing boiler exzaust’s will trigger them too also tree’s moving in strong winds. 2 lights with seperate pir’s wont confuse each other just makes it impossible for people to sneak around the home where there installed.

scares me to see houses that dont have them and kids and pets running around. cap them and save a small fortune in insurance claims for the householder 😉 but in this day and age its one small problem against many

thanks to senseib for mentioning EMW i just checked there site for a new timer board price and timer slave unit. and they list the fault on there page and what part is to blame 😀 they show the timer slave unit to be at fault and only cost £20 to replace i still got my fingers crossed on this one i do hope it does the job :rolls:

    Re: hoover 1200

the motor on the back of the timer is the same kind of one as a microwave turntable motor only 2 connections and 240v most of the controlling of the machine is just done from a main pcb
