Martin just took a look at this dryer today as its my own 😳 and own goods come last. and you are indeed correct. started taking front of machine apart and under the exzaust stat was the front seal that had fell out. this is the thick round seal between white plastic front and the black fan casing. i got numbers off the barcode here.

    Re: lg hall sensor

i had one of these hall effect sensors on a ice machine i was reparing i found the magnet had broken away so it wouldent function correctly. if you find the sensor number then google it for a pinout diagram you will see a ground a voltage connection and a signal output if you can connect up your multi meter to ground and signal output you can monitor the machine during a basic wash to see if you have correct pulsed voltage output

( + voltage out should be same as + in )

    here is a test

A circuit for testing the DN6848 is shown above. The output swings from +5 to ground. It will detect the presence of a south pole near to its front without physical contact, which is its great advantage. Using it as a tachometer would be a good test, but the mechanical arrangements would take some care and effort. Static switching would be easier to arrange, as detecting the opening and closing of a door or drawer.

got the dryer done.added the 2 washers and put it back together. the gap is at the very top of the drum i can feal it blowing out but back seal is fine so clothes should still dry ok vent hose is blowing ok customer is happy. but im just not happy with the overall quality of build of that kind of dryer
