    Re: Zanussi TC470 TD

    Martin,

LOL Who said I wanted to buy from espares, I was merely using their site for info?!!

Thanks Chris but Connections doesn’t seem to recognise the number.

Further investigation seems to point to the motorised fan no longer being available as a separate item though the conversion kit is.

    Thanks anyway, guys!

    Hi Martin,

Is the motorized fan not available as a separate item? Espares list it at:
http://www.espares.co.uk/part/tumble-dr … -type.html but of course don’t provide the gen part no..

    Re: Upstairs Delivery

    Aeronaut,

They would actually mean taking appliances in over the upstairs balconies through the patio doors, quite usual with furniture out there but first time I’ve known it done with washers etc. Can’t see the idea catching on in the UK!

Best info sheet I’ve found for this is at: https://www.valpak.co.uk/docs/dts/dts_f … _feb07.pdf.
Important thing is to do something before 15th March when costs double!
For those of us doing less than £100k turnover of new appliances the cost is only £200+vat to join the take back scheme which means you are not required to offer instore take back until at least 2010.
Also for those who are in the FSB there is a discounted rate of £175+vat available through their website at:
    https://www.fsb.org.uk/

    Thanks, guys.

Have spoken with Hotpoint who suggest part no. 1703656 but Connections doesn’t recognise it. Does this no. appear anywhere else?

1702778 (correct picture as per original) is superceded by 1703642 according to electrue. Could it be that what is being sent is correct but needs to be wired differently? Does anyone have a number for Hotpoint technical, the number I have is no longer recognised?
    Thanks for replies so far!
