Open door. Slacken screws 2 + 4 two turns down each door edge. Lift door – panel will probably fall on your foot.

If it’s been running, the capacitor is the more likely candidate. Possibly blocked.

Right – fitted 41021401 to this machine – it does go on, but there is far more “pleat” on it. I suspect that it’s meant to fit a machine with the drum set further back.

It’ll probably chafe through quite quickly.

Right – the humming noise is power going to the motor. The circulation motor may be stuck. Two years without use can make the water seals stick together. You may be able to break it free by manually turning the motor. Alternatively, the start/run capacitor may have failed – this effectively provides a “kick” to start the motor.

Power off if you’re going in and beware of the metal edges – you can shave with them……..

After it fills, apply no. 1 ear to door and see if you can hear a faint humming noise.

No drain detected in the time allowed – you’ve probably got a blockage.

Power off if you intend to sort this yourself.

Element works but no fan suggests fan motor failure or cooked wiring.

Model number will additionally be found on the oven casing, the user book or your purchase invoice.
