Fault description for E19 is “Dispenser fault / Heat exchanger valve fault” if that helps at all. Suggestions are check resistances of these parts and wiring between them and the module.

    Thanks Dave.

This model doesn’t have a pressure switch, just a flow meter in the inlet valve and a float switch in the base, both of which seem OK.
I suspect it is an electronics failure which id probably going to make it BER as machine is around 12 years old.

I’m not sure.I only have access to the parts list, not a wiring diagram.

    Re: Electrolux EWT959SA Washing Machine

I’ve never checked the board components as they are not easily available. The electronic board is a complete unit and can only be ordered that way. (Part # 0133200089. Approx. $170)

The only way to be sure which part is faulty is being there to check at the time it fails, otherwise you take your best guess and hope you bought the right part.

    Re: Electrolux EWT959SA Washing Machine

The motor and transmission is a single unit in this model. As it works sometimes and not others, I would suspect something loose in the transmission which is jamming it.

Repair parts for the transmission are not available, the complete unit (part number 119035310) is around $260

Re: AEG / Electrolux Oven cutting out

Both ovens have individual thermal cutouts which switch the elements off if they get too hot. Possibly the one of these that controls the lower oven is faulty.

Unfortunately the part is listed as NLA (No longer available) on the Australian Electrolux website.

    Re: Ilve oven switch

Thanks, I looked in the store, but looked for Ilve and not Brittania.
    I suspect I need this one: http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/a03408-o … tor-switch
but I am unable to find a model listing that shows both that and the knob listed above. Spare part information is guarded as if it is a national secret in Australia, I can normally find a UK or US site with information for most brands though.

Armed with the Brittania name though, I’ll look further in the morning.

Re: Bosch W/M Motors Interchangeable or not?

The critical bit is still missing WFL2000AU/.. <- there is 2 digits there. Going by the FD # the WFO is /01 but the WFL is inconclusive

The wiring diagrams I can see (guessing on the version) show similar but different resistance measurements and slightly different internal wiring in the motor (do they have different spin speeds?).
I wouldn’t try unless you don’t mind that the result might be a dead machine. Worst case scenario is that you will fry the electronic module.

That’s AUD from for a new board sourced in Australia.

Bosch don’t supply that level of information unfortunately (they probably don’t even have it themselves), they only show the module.
A replacement operating module is about $250 inc. postage.

Those NTC readings look about right, there is another NTC on the heater as well which should be about twice the resistance at equal temperatures as the front one.

RRP of the power module in Australia is $175.00

At 8 years it would also need carbon brushes if they haven’t yet been replaced so you should be looking at a repair cost of $350-$450.

Re: Plain packaging for fags cuts smoking – really?

In Australia, for the past couple of years, cigarettes are sold in a khaki / green package with big warning labels. There is no display packaging and the cigarettes cannot be seen from the counter.
Just this week Phillip Morris announced the closure of their local factory and blamed the labeling laws as one of the reasons.

From memory, this can be done completely from the front, so there is no reason to move the oven. Any reasonably competent oven specialist should be able to do the job in well under an hour.
