ahh ok I did think so, we have also been trying to add more into the machine so that makes sense why its coming out dry now. Will keep this in mind for future washes thanks.

thanks for the reply, they won’t necessarily mention it in the manual sadly so its something someone has to switch on and test.

I use to have an much older samsung washing machine from 10 years ago but no series tag around £500 but 8kg model and it had the same exact display and menu options, but the key part with that one was it remembered any custom setting ie temp 30 or 60…. so even if you switch it off and then back on the next day and go back to the same cycle it remembers temp 30 or 60 for example. My old samsung manual does not mention this feature either but its there in real life.

So its a hunch of mine that its the same with the series 5 and above and that it should still remember your last preferred setting, I have asked a few others so will update here if I was right or not though.

Thanks don, I just wanted to update I re-read the bosh series4 manual and spotted a small print saying that settings will not be saved, I assume its the custom settings which I wanted.

So it means its going to be very tedious to keep adjusting spin and speed and other settings on every wash vs the Samsung washers which auto save your last programmed settings per program.

I did spot on the bosch series 6 they added a touch panel design with spin and speed separate buttons which would make it more easier rather then cycling through several pre-sets each time, might be the home connect range also but thanks good to know it supports on that model type also.
