There maybe a bad neutral on the transformer feeding your house.
Or the power in your area may need conditioning.

Agreed. Also bad neutral can cause it too. A few years ago in a rural area a lug for the neutral burned right off two houses ended up with 500volts coming in 😯

well the voltage is within limits.
But the motor should still run.
The only thing apart from the machine having a quirky fault is the supply for the house been bad like a bad neutral.

So the machine can’t operate it?
And you can turn on the machine and will fill, wash, etc?
    Just won’t drain?
If that is the case the triac in the motor controller has failed. or the control circuit for the triac has.

I would say the rotor position sensor maybe faulty.

    Re: Personal safety

For me when I have to do live testing i don’t like doing it so when I do I use a isolating transformer so the only risk then is phase to neutral which is harder to do but still a shock risk 🙁
As for my work on electronics SMPS are the devils work.

    Re: GW603 machine size setting

thanks Penguin45 wasent sure on how it was done. another question how much noise should the bearings make? i took the rotor off so i could listen to them when i spin the bowl fast (by hand) i can hear a continuous wish noise with the occasional clunk noise from the bearings witch tells me that they will need to be replaced? (no sign of seal leaking) the 5kg machine i took the module from needs bearings as well. 🙁 they will cost $53.60NZD. yet to price bearing and seal kit for the 6KG.
