    Model number is as follows:

    SKT5002GB/02

Siphoning is what it seems to be doing although the water trickles out when it does this.

Yes, if you only have a 42cm space you can slice off the top and use it as a frisbee. :rolls:

A quick search on google showed this:

I have just bought this bosche compact dishwasher and i have to say it is amazing, cleans very well and proffesionaly

YOu can pick up older models off ebay for much less, perhaps £70, but make sure its a bosch they are most reliable and good quality. U can pick up cheap makes most places but they are rubbish so beware.

Bosche is the best for this type of dishwasher, if you get a 2nd hand one it is worth buying a new spray arm as the new design spray arm is off the new model and washes exceptionally. They are about £12 to buy, you can tell if you have the new spray arm as it will have a curved and dark plastic with circular holes for water.. Whereas the old one is white with oval holes.

If u need any more info let me know.

Well i took the wash arm off as i checked it with the door open and some of the holes had water coming out at a strange angle not hitting the dishes, they didnt look blocked so i put a needle down the holes and a couple of stones and gunge came out when i rinsed again so now it seems to be washing really well!

Ok i found the curved wash arm on the link u gave me, is there anywhere cheaper that sells this part?

Do you think I would benefit from changing the arm to the curved type, if there was something wrong with the impellar it wouldnt wash at all, i can hear the water sloshing about on the outside and u hear the jets hit the door and the roof cavity when empty.

Thank you Penguin, must say thanks you have been most helpful so far and i find this website excellent and really friendly people.

I have to switch it off before i can open the door so thepump has stopped completly before hand.

the motor sounds very nice and quiet no vibrations or anything so it must be ok.

Im sure it is working corerctly. i am very fussy and when i get something i usually upgrade them as much i can to get the most out of them.

Where can i get these parts from or see a picture, mine as a straight arm inside so i guess the curved one is designed better.

Is there a better wash arm out there that i could fit to my model to increase the performance of the wash.

I saw a video on youtube of someone with a similar model and they replaced the wash arm and it was more powerful and washed better.

Is the wash arm in the SKT5110 the same as in my older model or is it differnt and therefore would not fit? if so where could I get this part from?

Yeh and i guess if its been looked after so far and i look after it will do fine.

I notice that when it does a wash it doesnt seem to wash for very long before rinsing.

Would you reccomend it to use intensive wash all the time as it increases the wash by 10minutes?

Oh rite? Does that mean it may not last very long then? He says its not had much use, is there any way of telling if its had much use? Apart from scratches down the side where its been in a cupboard the front is perfect it still had its energy rating stickers on the front!

OK The FD number is FD8204 00241

What month and year was it made?

It has just arrived and im very happy with it, is quiet as anything, and in really good condition apart from the wash blade being blocked up with pieces of transparent plastic, probably food wrap off of ready meals, poked them out and its running fine.

What year was it made then?
