Not had much luck looking around for a machine with the depth you require but for the sake of 40mm you would do well to look at

Nokia 6680 can record with one button push … you just have to change the task of either the left or right hand buttons under the screen … change one to recorder and just push it to get to the record function …

Having been born & bred within the sound of “Bow Bells” amd spent a 20+ years in E & SE London, some of which working for Hoover I can assure you from an unbiased point of view it not people north of the Watford gap speciffically that are miserable / rude / ignorant / arrogant etc etc … having recently lived in Edinburgh for 2 years & Lincoln for for the last 2.5 I can assure you people from there are some of the nicest I have met … I was sworn at / threatened with a knife twice / had my parentage questioned and had lumps of rock thrown at my van … all on separate occasions but all while working in SE london and in affluent areas not just ” socially deprived ” ones /// … give me the people of the north for politeness and manners any time …

Gegsy … one question … ? … whats sleep ? … I can barely function well enough to splel ti let alone get any ! But I am led to believe it gets better … about the time they start asking to borrow the car keys I believe !
