Re: Bosch Exxcel high low heat connections

Thanks for that, okay it might have been the thermostats that I disconnected 3 or 4 wires with a loop between them,

    Bosch no fault codes displayed

Hi my Exxcel 1400 express stopped turning on all programs but had no error codes coming up, so suspected either belt or brushes and found out brushed were well worn over 10 years old since new.

So would you say it was the brushes or anything else I could try, just disappointed that I didn’t get an error code up to help

    Re: Smeg DI612 e4

Sorry don’t know where to edit my post and add to it.

So had the door off and no thermostat in there and all the wires from the machine to the door are in good condition.

Maybe I got it wrong but I assumed the fault was in the door thermostat, so any help on this please ?

    Thanks

Wow thanks I don’t know how to thank you enough I didn’t even know I had that up there, I must have put something too high in and it’s caught it as I closed the top basket.

    Thanks again

Thanks for the reply don’t think it’s worth repairing then, might have been if it was only the stat that was gone I could of changed that myself

The WTA4108GB/03 & WTA4108GB/04 both have the same sized belt (Bosch Part No: 446856)

Thanks for the reply, but the label on the machine shows the /03 model which has a belt with the no. on it EPH-1906.

Now ordered off the UKWG shop and recieved a belt with 1930 on it which should have been the correct one for that model of machine.

Now the replacement belt is approx 1″ too long so i equate the numbers on the belt too length and the 30mm extra would be the 1″ approx too long.

So contacted Dave who advised me to order the shorter belt from the /04 model which has the 1903 stamped on it.

So as i am not an expert in this i can only assume i got a late /03 model with a /04 drum

    no.s from ukwg shop

As you can see not thye same so i could only follow whats info i had
