No its not that so much mike.
I just tend to find on my travels a lot of people who do her job are very much how I described .
Shall I say they lack a lot of common sense. 😆

    Mike said Don’t go!!!..

Mike I wish I had taken your advice.
I get there all excited ready for my little treasure hunt and she says “False alarm I’ve found it in the bedroom but come in anyway Ive got a dryer not heating for you to look at”
I think great at least its a job .
So I stroll through this big house into the garage/laundry room full of crap .
I must of moved about ten boxes just to get to the dryer anyway after alot of farting about the dryer was a hotpoint CTD80 showing F08 you know the rest.
Tell her to call Indesit or get a new one. She decided to go to currys to get a new one but could I fit it 😯 . I tell her you only have to take the wrapping of and plug it in . Well me and my husband are not very good with things like that she says .
Im just wondering if anyone can guess what she does for a living. Its nothing exciting but i’ll just recap to give you a clue.
1, Lives with crap and clutter everywhere.
2, Unable to plug a new dryer in
3, Was going to get me to strip her washing machine down because she couldnt find a necklace on her dressing table.

Theres only one profession she could work in .

Re: Most valuable find in a pump filter yet?

Funny this subject should come up . Last week I got a call from a very nice lady asking me lots of questions. She must of phoned me four times in a hour to ask things like do I have insurance , which I thought was odd.

Anyway on the fourth call she finally books me to go to a job at someone else’s house . Now me being nosey asks is it for a friend your ringing for .

she says “No we are a concierge service and the customer has lost a very expensive necklace in her washing machine”
So hopefully by tomorrow I’ll be able to add more to this thread.
    Stay tuned.

    Re: Creda dryer 37763x

Thanks guys but I got to the bottom of this one . Out of frustration I started looking around the heater and the one shot felt convexed so popped it the right way and hey presto it fired into life . Not really sure why this solved it or why the heater worked earlier but i’m just happy its sorted. 😉 😆

Mmmm Interesting thought Martin. I dont think that is the case as Ive been going to this customer for years. She lives on her own and I dont think shes the sort to meddle.
I am certain I swaped the wires over correctly.
One for one like you said . I would like to double check it though. 😳

If someone does have a wiring diagram it would be much appreciated.
Failing that its scratchey head time.

Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?

Irate Woman phones up 9.30 sunday night 😯 . I bought a Bosch of you just over two years ago. Its been in storage for 18 months just reinstalled it and its not working no lights nothing. Should last longer than six months use blah blah blah.
I ask her to plug somthing else in socket and try a new fuse. Her words (We aren’t stupid we have tried all that and have changed the plug aswell)
I thought here we go ive got a screamer on my hands here.

Get out there today and the bloke had changed the plug because he couldnt get the moulded plug through the hole but he had wired earth to live and vice versa 😯
He then starts to say hes done it right and I must be wrong because he copied it off the other plug 😡 (Not sure how he did that with a moulded plug).

So anyway rewired it got my cash and left the house with the woman having a right go at him and his final words .Im not a electrician am I. 😆
So from now on I’m going to switch the phone off at 7 because I only seem to get idiots phone me up after that.

To be honest I thought it was just ratchet spanners untill I looked at mikes picture to show the contraption hes bought. 😳
Thanks for the tip martin something for me to think about. The only down side I can see is disconecting all the plumbing to tip it over. Better than looking like a self harmer though 😉
