six flashes is water tap closed. If there is some water going in as you stated it’s more than likely the flow meter.

Tim. I would do the TDC32p first because you know there is more chance the vtd will scrape the back panel as soon as you turn it on and leave you red faced 😳 .
And fit it how Martin said.

Nice one Jim I didn’t think anybody else would own up to it happening to them . Good idea with the mole grips. I just couldn’t get my brain into gear with a shower coming down on my head. Oh well it made the day a bit more interesting.

    Re: seized/broken isolation valves

It’s a right laugh when that happens .
I had somthing similar happen a while ago . Pulled machine out (carefully) and ‘crack’ hose end snapped. Water pissing out everywhere. Dragged all the crap out of the cupboard found taps could just about reach them but they had seized up . Lady of the house didnt know where the stop cock was.
I was getting a bit flustered and wet by now . So toolbox upside down trying to find six mm spanner and screw driver with one hand trying to hold pipe together finally found them . Stugled to reach taps around cupboard. took handle off and could just about turn tap head off with spanner. Then a lot of cleaning up. 😳
Oh the joys of washing machine repair.

    Re: Dyson Pay Up Front

    A1TEC wrote James Dyson is a tw@t
I had a customer a few years ago that was calling him exactley the same thing . Because James owes him a few grand which dates back to the 80s.

It was from when James designed them wheel barrows that had a ball not a wheel . My customer had somthing to do with the manufacturing of them and never got fully paid for them .Due to them not selling very well in the uk.

It wouldnt surprise me if he got the idea to put the ball on his vac after he got pissed off changing them plastic wheels all the time on his dyson at home ,and waiting forever for the spares to come through.
He thought I know i’ll shove one of them balls on ,off one of the 300 wheelbarrows ive got in the shed that I couldnt sell.
Then after a lot of huffing and puffing thought sod this I’m going to buy a kirby.
I’ll flog the ball vac to some other prat.
Well thats my theory anyway. 😆
