Thanks Martin. I think I’m gonna bail on this job. It didn’t show any error code when I popped out but he assured me it was a regular occurrence. Motor sounded a bit rough on high spin as well. Really appreciate your advice Martin.

Yeah good shout. I did have the door panel off and it didn’t look to shabby but I wasn’t really looking for breaks.
    Might be worth another visit.

    Thanks Steve.
I did clock it was a recall. When I activate the blue lever microswitch it will not turn the water off. Switch is OK so I was thinking must be PCB.
    Thank you.

Yeah, done a few as there all pressed on now. Bit more fiddly than the three screw version, but straight forward.

Gone as far as I can, but the machine is still available at Tesco. Like you said it’s probably just for the large load stuff.

It’s in a children’s daycare centre, classed as commercial.

I’m afraid I don’t but I could give the customer a call if you’re interested. It was a larger capacity dryer 8-9kg from memory.

It’s a Hotpoint, everything is the same apart from the motor and pulley.

Thanks for that, had a few issues with hoover machines displaying wrong error codes with low insulation. I went out and checked it, insulation was fine on this occasion but one of the little micro buttons was half stuck in so I’ve ordered new top PCB. I noticed 1, 2 and 5 do flash when paused so should hopefully do the trick.
    Thanks.

Sorry to change the subject but it’s all change again, just been out to a new hotpoint dryer only a couple of months old and its got a spring loaded pulley and an askol drive motor also the front noisy wheels have made a return.

Got some pics if you want to see it.

    Re: ZWG5125 leaking

Thanks for that seamy, I’ll double check that but iirc that was all clear.
It’s a bit like the hotpoint dispenser that leaks out the side and you have to change the dispenser top.
The reason I asked I’m sure a long time ago I changed just the y connector to solve this problem something to do with the jets of water hitting each other to direct into the conditioner compartment, but I might be wrong.
    Blow it I’ll change both.
    Thank’s again
