Hello all.
RESULT !!!
Did as final_spin and gave the right hand side of the door a few taps and the drying light flickered & sometimes stayed on.
Top off, turned on and tapped plastic PCB holder gently. Straight away relay began clicking in & out, so power off, saw a couple of possible dry joints on the relays, so re-soldered all the relay connections to make sure.Works just fine now, so will keep an eye on it.
Hope these posts help others.
Once again many thanks for your help……….Shaun

Will have a look around the door stat & relay/PCB areas & see if anything’s amiss.
Thanks……………Shaun.

Hi iadom,
When the start button is pressed, the drier always starts rotating, with the “active” light on. The orange “drying light comes on sometimes. If it doesn’t we have to switch off and try again till it does. The orange drying light either stays on momentarily, or goes off in a couple of minutes with little heat being generated.
Even when the drying light goes out, the drier still keeps on going and going, until it is switched off manually.
Hopre this helps…………….Shaun.

Hi Dave, and thanks for your reply. I think the number you need is…………. 79/22018/00/00. For your additional info the serial number is…..207120076.
These numbers were taken from the sticker on the rear of the instruction book, and the 79/22018/00/00 number was prefixed by COD.
Hope this helps……..Shaun Evans.

ParticipantRe: Ariston LV62 Dishwasher
Hi Dave, thanks for such a quick reply. The model number is as you reckoned, LV621XUK. I’ve had the panel off, and it would appear that the flap is a seperate item (well one that could be removed anyway). It has two “lugs /arms” that fit through two slots, and there is a small circular moulding on the end of each lug /arm that fits into small holes on the backplate, the flap returns by way of a two armed spring.
Hope this helps, and thanks for your help……..Shaun.
