sounds feasable.
these indeed have no filter which i found weird when i bought it, Ill take the back off abd have a look.
Any where in particular I should be looking for fluff?

actually i seem to remeber you cant open door, as it looks for couple of mins, but you can move it from hot to cold bypassing the warm down and then wait 2 mins.
I guess it is time for someone who knows what they are doing to look at it!

anyone know engineer in sheffield or surrounding area? not keen on yellow pages.
I might try another fuse coz the missus put about a lorry full of towels in on a 90 min dry. Cant have helped.

my immense technical knowledge would suggest that the fuse is going for a reason 😉
Any suggestions? it lasted about 3-4 loads? Could over weighting be doing it?

yep its the lug on the door frame that has snapped.
so a door frame will do for starters 😉 thanks

that sounds about right.
have not seen the unit myself so dont know if the lug is part of the door ie all one piece.if the lug can be removed from door then thats all i need
can you source?

the black plastic lug on the door that one of the hinges screws into has snapped.
So could do with the lot really if the lug is integral to the door.
so possibly door, hinges, and any other fittings !!!????

worked a treat, fuse turned up as promised, 30 secs to install and nice dry y-fronts all round.
saved me about £300 as i was just going to go out and buy a new washer.

as suggested.
took the lid off last night and all does become apparent.
thermal fuse sat their staring up at me. The terminals on it are black compared to the other fuse next to it so fair chance its blown i think.
new one should arrive in morning, so I may *fingers crossed* have it fixed WOO YAY!

my dad is an ex service engineer but hes out of the country for a few months and i need to dry the smalls 🙄
ive ordered a fuse, ill take my chances for that price 😆 fingers crossed
